Project Engineer / Dubai, UAE (transferable) / Reporting to General Manager Sales
Job responsibilities
- Review project proposals, specifications and plans & confer with sales and manufacturing
- Identifying stages within the project cycle, placing orders on sub-vendors & expediting
- Report status of projects to management and clients
- Prepare overall costing for the project to ascertain contribution to margins
- Control project plan and costs
- Improving existing processes and systems
- Coordinate with Third Party Inspectors for testing
- Project Documentation Control
Required skill set
- Mechanical engineer with sound knowledge of fabrication processes
- Experience of 2 to 5 years in execution of projects
- Good Knowledge of the Oil and Gas Business Environment
- Computer skills to use MS Projects / Auto Cad and other Project Tools
- Good Communication and coordinating skills
- Valid UAE driving license will be an added advantage
Compensation: Negotiable, commensurate with experience and qualifications
