Largest Order in LEWA History

The world‘s largest GTL-Project in the Persian Gulf will be provided with six chemical injection packages by LEWA. These will be used offshore in Qatar for gas extraction on the two Pearl platforms. The systems, equipped with Ecoflow pumps and all electric and mechanical components, were manufactured from duplex steel by customer request due to the corrosive environment and high temperatures. LEWA has supplied pumps to Qatar previously, meeting the highest quality requirements and also winning favor for exact compliance with all delivery schedules.

 

A critical factor for this order is that the only two floating cranes of this size in the world are already booked for a firm date in March 2008 for the construction of the platforms. Therefore, delays in delivery would be unacceptable, not to mention unaffordable.
