LEWA open house event

About 1,000 guests visit LEWA Leonberg’s open house event
The weather wasn’t the only thing contributing to the event’s success – the full commitment of every guest was also noticeable. The response showed that our employees are also more than happy to come to LEWA on the weekends to show their families and friends where they work. The event offered the inquisitive guests an opportunity to peer into the world of LEWA, giving them a glimpse of what LEWA pumps and systems are capable of. A “scavenger hunt” led the guests through an obstacle course of information stands, where the use of LEWA pumps and systems with regard to biofuel production or carbon dioxide reverse injection was clearly described. At another activity stand, guests could use their own “lung power” to see for themselves how difficult it is to produce 0.25 bar (about 3.6 psi) of positive pressure. Aside from the activity stands, there were also plenty of fun-filled activities and entertainment – and even prizes to be won – which helped keep things interesting for both young and old alike. In addition, LEWA appealed to every guest to make a cash donation to a Leonberg kindergarten facility. LEWA then matched every donation received, thereby doubling the total amount.
It was a rousing success for guests, employees and all voluntary helpers – we extend our sincere thanks to everyone who participated! |
