As the technology leader, LEWA plays a leading role in the development of environmentally compatible process alternatives at many research institutes.

It therefore goes without saying that we place great importance on having an environmentally sound production and actively participate in the environmental consultation program of the State of Baden-Württemberg, “ECOfit.” Specific steps LEWA is planning concern energy use and water consumption.

In the short term, LEWA aims to save up to 15% water through measures that have already been initiated. Environmental protection and the sustainable saving of resources have been also topics at the LEWA environment day  „1. Green Technologies Day“.
