„Convenience, competence and customization" - reference of a LEWA package for tenside metering.

The package was designed in a way that the user can meter certain raw materials directly from the IBC (intermediate bulk containers). Even before commissioning a local partner was involved in the control technology in order to be able to provide the fastest possible service at a later stage.

Moreover a heat recovery system was integrated. This system considers seasonally changing energy states and thus allows saving heat energy of more than 300 kW. If the costs for primary energy are considered this results in savings of several ten thousands of Euros each year.

The system was equipped with a programmable logic control, which did not have to comply with the special requirements regarding explosion proof design due to the smart arrangement of the adjacent modules.
