LEWA-Award 2006

Initiated by the founder of LEWA, Senator E.h. Herbert Ott, the company has been awarding  the "LEWA-Award" every year to the University of Stuttgart ever since 1995.

 

From the suggestions of the institutes within Faculty 7, Mechanical Engineering, of the University of Stuttgart (Department of process engineering and technical cybernetics) concerning excellent theses and dissertations, the expert commission selects one thesis and one dissertation and proposes it for the LEWA-Award.

 

 

 

The managing director Dr.-Ing. Reinhard Dechow awarded the LEWA award for 2006 on 31 January 2007 at the New Year's reception of the Department of Process Engineering and Technical Cybernetics to

 

 


      

Herrn Dr.- Ing. Knut Graichen

for his dissertation
 

“Feedforward control design for finite-time transition problems
of nonlinear systems with input and output constraints"

 

and

Herrn Dipl.-Ing. Jan Hansmann

for his thesis
 

“Development of a bioreactors to be used in
vascularised tissue engineering”
