Our pumps are adapted to the individual case.
The selection and design as well as the order processing requires a lot of competence in process and application technology. It by far exceeds the actual pump to provide an optimum result to the customer. To assure proper function of the pump in the plant the interaction of the reciprocating positive displacement pump and the pipe lines connected to it must be considered at an early stage already. With our software “Pump Design” specially developed for LEWA pumps we can check the installation for cavitation, overload and excessive metering taking the properties of the fluid into consideration. If required optimizing measures for pipe line dimensioning, pulsation damping etc are proposed. If requested a full pulsation study is provided which, in addition, will also include hydraulic resonance phenomenons.
