From family business to international group

With the takeover of the family-led business by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG), a strategic course has been set by the company with the newly formed LEWA Group. LEWA seeks to grow profitably, to become more active internationally and to assert and further expand its leadership in its core competencies of conveying and metering fluids – supported by taking on products of other wellknown manufacturers. LEWA customers throughout the world and in a wide range industries – from chemicals to the oil and gas industries to pharmaceuticals and foods – will continue to profit from these competence well into the future.

In August 2009 the LEWA GmbH was acquired by the Japanese NIKKISO Co. Ltd. Since there is hardly any overlapping of products and target markets within the two companies, NIKKISO and LEWA consider themselves to be in a strengthened situation on the world market.
