High metering accuracy

Due to extremely pressure stiff pump characteristics of the metering pumps and the proven design LEWA diaphragm pumps show a very high metering accuracy. The metering pumps are (manually, electrically and pneumatically) stroke adjustable and via frequency inverter the stroke frequency can be adjusted also. The reproducibility of the settings is better than +/- 1%. LEWA diaphragm pumps are very sturdy and durable and this has been proven again and again for decades. The diaphragm uptimes amount to approx. 8000 up to 20000 operating hours depending on the operating conditions and the pump type!! The pumps are wear-resistant and the service intervals are very long. This increases the availability and reduces the operating costs.

Gentle conveying

The LEWA diaphragm pump technology allows gentle metering and conveying of shear-sensitive and expensive components in a hermetically tight operating chamber.

Due to the extremely low dwell time in the pump head and the pressure stiff pump characteristic of diaphragm pumps the fluids can pass the pump head quickly and with inefficient backflow.

Optimally streamlined working valves (valve seat and guide) with short closing procedures assure gentle conveying behaviour.
