Good reasons for a NIKKISO Non-Seal® canned motor pump
The NIKKISO Non-Seal pump is a canned motor pump that covers high-pressure and high-temperature applications.
The NIKKISO canned motor pump is specifically used in the chemical industry for transfer and circulation tasks. The pump and motor are integrated in the sealed leak-proof structure of the canned motor pump. NIKKISO has developed pumps in accordance with DIN EN ISO 2858, API 685, and other standards.
In use, the canned motor pump implements flow rates up to 1,000 m³/h and works with pressures up to 200 bar (at 50 Hz).
The NIKKISO canned motor pump is an ideal solution for transfer and circulation tasks in the chemical industry. It can be used to pump hazardous, toxic fluids.
NIKKISO Non-Seal pump consists of a centrifugal pump and an air-tight canned motor. Both of them are attached to each other to form one single unit, while pump and motor share one common shaft. A small flow of working fluid is forced into the rotor chamber to act as a coolant and lubricant in the motor.
The NIKKISO Non-Seal pump is a canned motor pump that covers high-pressure and high-temperature applications.
NIKKISO Non-Seal pumps’ airtight design protects operators against exposure to substances that are dangerous to health. And the pumps are designed to handle explosive or flammable fluids, and other aggressive fluids.
Compact design combined with a low number of required components enables simple installation and maintenance. Feeler gauges and shims are no longer necessary. And since there is only one shaft, alignment is a thing of the past.
Pump and motor integration means space is used especially efficiently. With minimal base space requirements, set-up costs are reduced.
NIKKISO’s leak-free design prevents product loss and pollutant emission into the atmosphere. The best option for addressing worldwide concerns for the environment and increasingly stringent regulations.
NIKKISO offers highly reliable canned motor pumps. In order to fit predictive maintenance programs, NIKKISO Non-Seal pumps also have the E-Monitor feature for local bearing monitoring.
A fully encapsulated system without a motor fan or exposed bearings enables low-noise and low-vibration operation. Perfect alignment between the motor and pump also reduces system vibration significantly.
NIKKISO canned motor pumps comply with API 685 standards. Therefore, it its extensively present in the oil and chemical industries.
Security is the Alpha and Omega: That's why we offer the option of an integrated remote display including alarms and emergency shutdown for your canned motor pump.
A proper process monitoring not only prevents failures, it also ensures a long lifetime of pump.
For the HM pump type, a seal pot is available for feeding the rinsing liquid to the mechanical seal.
To improve the suction conditions (NPSHR), the NIKKISO canned motor pumps can be equipped with an inducer.
From engineering to commissioning – all from a single source: Our systems are suitable for sea transport and can be completely disassembled and reassembled at the destination.
NIKKISO canned motor pumps meet the dimensions and duty points in accordance with DIN EN ISO 2858. This means that NIKKISO fulfills the requirements of a standardized chemical pump, which makes it easier to exchange existing pumps.
