Wangen Progressing Cavity KB Series
Contamination-free dosing pump handling with minimal dead space and low-stagnation design
Pumps of Wangen Progressing Cavity KB Series are used for core challenges in the food and beverage industry. The electropolished stainless-steel product surfaces and the hygienic design minimizing dead space and stagnation zones to reduce residue, support effective cleaning and protect product quality that meet strict hygiene requirements. This ensures stable product quality even when handling shear-sensitive, particulate or highly viscous media. Gentle, low-pulsation conveying enables accurate dosing and consitent flow across a wide viscosity range. The pumps are applied in feeding, unloading, recirculation, suction, dosing, rinsing, and transfer operations, helping manufacturers optimize production across multiple stages.
The KB Series includes application-specific variants:
This versatility allows precise adaption to process requirements while ensuring reliable operation.
- KB-SL suction pumps for gentle pumping
- HYLINE ensures optimal performance and operational reliability

Economical and compact
The Wangen KB Series features a direct-coupled block construction which eliminates the need for a bearing housing, creating a compact and economical pump solution. Designed for standard operating conditions and lower flow rates, it offers reliable performance, reduced installation space, and an attractive cost-to-performance ratio for food and beverage processing applications.

Key features and benefits
Hygenic construction minimizing residues
Electropolished stainless-steel surfaces and a design that minimizes dead space and stagnation zones to reduce buildup and improves cleanability which is crucial for maintaining hygiene in food and beverage processing.
Smooth conveying for sensitive media
With gentle, low-pulsation conveying the KB Series protects shear-sensitive and particulate-rich products, ensuring consistens flow quality. This makes it suitable for delicate ingredients widely used in food and beverage production.
High dosing precision for all viscosities
Designed for stable, controlled pumping, the KB Series delivers accurate dosing even at low speeds. It reliable handles thin liquids, viscous media and mixture with solids supporting precise, repeatable processing steps.
CIP‑ready hygienic pump design
Low‑dead‑space geometries and constant internal flow velocities enable effective Cleaning‑in‑Place without disassembly. CIP cycles reliably reach all product‑contact areas, reducing cleaning time, contamination risk and downtime in food and beverage production
Options
Customized Solutions
We offer a large selection of accessoires which are perfectly matched to pur product range, providing the ideal complement or adaption to your inidvidual requirements and allowing you to create your own customized solution.
