Positive displacement internal gear pump compliant with regulation EC 1935-2004 FCMs
Due to their mechanical and construction characteristics and their versatility in handling various viscosities, the Varisco positive displacement internal gear "V" pumps are primarily used for transferring products such as syrups, chocolate, oils, and molasses.

Internal gear pump working principle
The flow is generated by two gears: the rotor and idler, one inside the other, separated by a crescent. As the gears rotate, liquid is drawn into the spaces created between the gears and the crescent. When the gears mesh, the liquid is forced out of the pump. The result is a smooth flow of liquid and high capacity combined with compact size.

Temperature always under control
In order to check the temperature of the pumped fluid, this series of pumps has heating chambers on the cover and around the axial seal that can be supplied with water, steam or diathermic fluid.
Easy maintenance operations
Front cover easy removal design for quick access to the idler bush and the type of shaft packing sealing fitted, allows low cost of ownership and easy maintenance operations.
Product gentle handling
The internal gear system creates cavities that move from the inlet to the discharge port to prevent the pumped liquid from being squeezed, mishandled or agitated and protect shear sensitive liquids from physical or molecular properties modifications. Thanks to a stable, controlled flow rate that is directly proportional to the rotational speed, these pumps enable accurate and repeatable dosing.
Compliance with EC Regulation 1935-2004
Varisco internal gear pumps comply with EU Regulation 1935-2004 are suitable for preliminary food-processing applications where high hygienic standards or CIP/SIP cleaning cycles are not required.
Reversibility
By inverting the direction of rotation the flow of liquid is reversed. Full performance is available in either direction of flow.

Perfect handling of medium - high viscosity fluids, low peripheral speeds of the rotor, an external support with a large-sized roller bearing to support axial and radial loads in order to ensure a longer service life.
